Darret is free. There is no commission on contributions, no subscription, no fee to create or join a circle, and no charge when you receive the pot. Because Darret never holds the money, there is nothing for it to take a percentage of — members pay each other directly.

Darret does not move money. It organizes circles and records payments, so it has no payment costs to pass on and no float to take a margin from. Members settle between themselves by whatever method they agree on.
Some savings-circle apps take a percentage of every contribution or of the pot. Over a full cycle a 2% cut on a 6,000 MAD pot is 120 MAD out of members’ own savings. Before joining any circle app, check what it takes, whether it holds the money, and whether the pot is exactly members × contribution.
No paid plan is required to run a daret. If Darret ever introduces optional paid features, running a circle stays free and the change will be announced clearly in the app.
